Shrinking an actor: green screen question

Lighting is key to making the key effect look good. Basically you want an even flat light on the screen, back light and key, and fill on the talent. Try and keep green spill from the screen off the talent. And as the previous poster said there are tons of you tube videos on the subject. FWIW...

    Led rgb

Do you mean dmx control for mixing the color channels? You would need at the least a USB to DMX convertor and compatible control software. As for color matching to RGB that would depend on how accurate the light itself matched the computer RGB values. Theatrical units often have tables that...

How do i fix the hard edges on these lights?

Played with the single frame in Adobe Light Room. I was able to get rid of the color cast, but as for the really hard lights you might want to mask and blur them to soften them a bit. No way to lose them entirely

    breakout or distribution from stinger

Personally I'd prefer a lunch box style distribution where each outlet has it's own breaker, but on a low budget and so long as your aware of your loads a simple quad box will do and it will be fairly flat. I don't think I'd want my camera power on the same circuit as my lighting. Build one with...

    Lighting Question HELP!

Replacing the original connector is not too difficult. Just make sure you follow the color code. THe pins on the new connector are usually marked. In the US Green is ground, black is hot, and white is neutral. If it's a EU cable than Green/Yellow is ground, brown is hot and blue is neutral. This...

    Lighting Question HELP!

Definitely lamp down to a lesser wattage if using household circuits. Even if the circuit is rated at 20 amps, you never know when something else might be on it, and older breakers and fuses might trip at less than their rating.

    Best Workflow in CS6

OK, just getting started in editing with Premier CS6. What is my best work flow for importing, adding effects, and color correcting? I have already encountered some problems (bugs maybe) when exporting media. In one instance I left split screen preview turned on in fast color corrector and...

New Computer for CS6 - whats out there?

I'm getting ready to upgrade from CS5.5 to CS6. It's also time to upgrade my 8 year old desktop workstation. I know there are plenty of i7 solutions that will run rings around my old 2.4 gHz dual xenon, but I was wondering about the new motherboards coming out this spring that will supposedly...

Canon electronic adapters with non canon lenses

While awaiting the release, and reviews on both the Birger and Red Rock adapters I was wondering if these will be able to work with second party ef mount lenses such as Sigma, Tokina and Tamaron. I know in the past there have been issues with the chipsets on some of these lenses as they will...
