i shot a film over the summer on 35mm and got it data cine scanned. the place that did it gave it back to me as full res quicktime files which wouldn't play on my mac. they told me to download avid dnxhd codec and then i'd be able to edit in FCP. the codec enables the clips to play in quicktime...
