    firewire problems

    I have a new Dell laptop the does not have a pci card slots. all i have is usb ports. i would like to connect my DVX100 to my laptop. i tried a usb/firewire hub (GUH420) but does not seem to work. does anyone know of a way to connect the dvx to my laptop through firewire ? at wits end.

    A Problem will 6.5

    I shot some footage on a DVX100a at 24fps and I'm trying to edit it in premiere 6.5 but when I put it in the timeline and view it in the monitor it's very choppy. I tried to change the setting for FPS but it doesn't seem to have the ability to 24fps. Is there any help you all could give me ...
