I have a Rode external mic for my 7D that has a basic headphone style jack (TRS) on it. I want to use this mic for my HMC but need an adapter to go from TRS to XLR. Are these even manufactured? Do I need to get a second Rode for the HMC? Thanks.

Brand new to the HMC, picked it up today. I have some friends with an HVX but didn't have the cabbage to splurge for that cam. I was under the impression the HMC had 60fps shooting that when imported into FCP would instantly be slo-mo. Meaning, ten seconds of footage would become 20 seconds...
