For economy purposes, I am using Final Cut Express. I shoot 720/24 and am finding my films look very pixeled and rolling copy gets very choppy at Quicktime/720x486/best quality. What is the optimal final output setting for burning dvd's and projection. I know I must sound like a real tool here...

I'm having trouble getting my Macbook set up as a monitor for my 170. Any help please.

I got a Macbook to use as dedicated monitor for the 170. I don't have Premier, so Onlocation is out. Any suggestions? Also, I am getting started with Final Cut Express and am using P2 Content Manager. I get most of the process except: Do I import to Final Cut from P2CM or the other way around...
