SWIT just let us know that they released an adapter (S-7105) for their S-8U93/S-8U63 batteries to be used with Sony FS-7 cameras. It allows for a convenient connection to the D-Tap power jack in the battery. It is just a $20 piece, addresses the limitation often mentioned here and other Sony forums.

Just FYI SWIT and Switronix (NY) are 2 unrelated companies. You are referring to Switronix. From engineering point of view it is hard and expensive to incorporate a voltage converter into a very small space, and make it reliable. That is why others (and our kit) use a small external box for it.

The new high capacity SWIT battery is shipping 6/22 - it is 86Wh capacity, same dimensions and features as the older S-8U63 battery. SWIT USA is getting the first shipment in two weeks from today.
