NICE superhero film!!!

[Grant]

I know this is totally against all the Copywriting rules of the contest, HOWEVER...
This is a real nice little film to get us all in the mood.
Its a fan film about the Batman's often overlooked sidekick.

Batman: Dead End is fantastic. I read that it cost the guy some $30,000.

You gotta be a diehard to drop that kind of money on a fan film. Yikes.

[smkoch]

Actually the short Grayson was done by another guy, make sure you download the behind the scene's it's pretty good. Batman: dead end was done by this guy http://www.collorastudios.com/projects/bde/bdemain.htm he followed it up with a short film called "Worlds Finest" that you can download here http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/nonsw/worldsfinest/index.asp

[david jerome]

Does anyone know what cameras these were shot with?

[Grant]

If memory serves the Greyson one was shot with 16mm

[Filmjunkie677]

Batman: dead end is 35mm

[Thomas J. O'Hara]

i can't believe he spent so much on that!
he should have just made an alien vs predator movie...

[profnoxin]

From what I understand Dead End was done as a prod. design / costuming demo reel.

Gotta spend money to make money.

Watch the BTS on Batman: Dead End, they are pretty phenomenal, Corolla has to a be a veteran because he brough in a bunch of other pros, and I really hope they get someone who looks like that for the next Joker.

I wish I had 30g's to put towards production.
