it was not relevant, everyone could see they were making love. I just feel that the top half was exposed to 'up' the ratings, where I don't think there was a need to do this as the film was excellent without it.

no, not all the time.:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Man, you hardly see anything of her. I dont find any gratious shots there.

I understand your thought process, and somewhat agree. I don't think that it adds to the story any, but I don't think that it takes away from the story either.

Could it be taken out? Sure. Is it appropriate for the story? Sure. I guess I'm really ambivilant on this point. As I do not feel that it was an inappropriate use of nudity.

MattC-
There was a wide shot that showed her bottom half- or were you wanting a Close UP?

Here you go MattC. Her Bottom:

Actually, I thought it was tastefully done. And I DO believe it added to the story because it gave us a sense of the intimacy that the girl felt for her Similo. It helped give a sense of greater loss.

And such a nice bottom half it is, I would have liked to have seen more of it....

My thinking is that when it comes to beautiful women, more nudity = more better...

In fact, I can't think of a single film ever made in which the film itself wasn't enhanced by it. EVER.

That's my position and I'm sticking to it.

:D

Thanks. That is quite an impressive before and after. Did you have to shoot a plate, or did you just recreate the part of the road that his legs are covering?

I would like to know this as well, it was very well done.

Cy Hogg made it all in shake from a hand held moving shot.

He tracked the shot, made then the matte painting, and insterted the animated 3D CGI over.
