Just had to throw out that I'm working on a sci-fi story with three intermingling stories as we speak, so that 9 months from know you guys won't say I'm ripping off MacGregor. ;)

But I agree. That kind of structure would work great for you in this case, Mac. Like I said before, there's a lot of places you can go with this story.

We are just working on that! Mojo what a coincidence!

I wish all of you could see the 25 minute shortfilm. There is a LOT of story there.

Answering old questions:
- i have no pictures of the light set up in the room.
- the car projection just allows to make lateral shots
 
No seriously. It will be cheaper to make a real car than compositing and render such shots at 4 k resolution.

Unless some guys from ILM could work a couple months in the project for free.
 
Yeah, a practical would probably be cheaper... you're doing 4k resolution? Are you printing to film or something??

In my version I would have some ROAD WARRIOR shot of a car; and then a POV of the android getting hit at a 100 MPH.

Hudson style.

Haha. That's some good stuff, John.

As for the futuristic car. Does the car need to run? If not, you might be able to get by with finding some "fast and the furious" car racer type guys to fashion a custom body. Then maybe mount that body on a junker car. I was thinking of doing something like that for my project. It'd be worth asking around about.

And John, you forgot the low level shot of the android's shoe tumbling down the road ;)
