CPU - Jeremy Hyler aka Spidey

Wow. I just got to this one tonite. It is my new favorite. Great job. There were some technical issues (looked like some dirt on the lens during some of the EXT. scenes) but I hardly cared. One of the few films I wish was a feature.

No comments on the score yet? :P Actually it's a little hard to hear, because of the heavy dialogue/sound, so I'll post a track for anyone who is interested. I'll get the others uploaded too, soon.

This is the track for the final sequence in the film.

Chris,
If you notice the sound track is there it the underlining force. drving it. Some projects scores sometimes get in the way of the dialogue i didnt want that :)

It's hard not to like this one.

Very creative writing and solid acting. Interesting and effective CCing as well.

I love that it begs you to watch several times.

Something that struck me...

Title sequence was too quick and confusing. Could'nt read all the names and could'nt figure out the title was CPU ....it just went away too quick for me. It was a beautiful sequence though and I loved the numbers 10101010101010101010!

and the language....tisk tisk... Their has to be a better way to tell this without so much swearing. Just Kidding...I know you watched mine already.

Definately one of the top!

I wish we could have done more with the titles, but after widdling time out of the thing for 3 weeks (trying to get it from 11min down to 6) we had to start slicing. The credits seem the most logical one to take the fall. Spidey is real big on creative credits, so it was a bit of a battle.

Well I wanted to have something interesting visually with the titles i know they go by fast but its not tooooo bad. But i will slow it down later. Yes I wanted to make interesting titles. :-p

This has to be one of the best stories so far for me. I loved it. The acting was superb, the main guys played off each other really really well. I liked the editing style alot, too. Really fit the telling of this story.

Score...wonderful again! I hate you all! :p

I dont know what you did exactly to make this pop, visually, so well for me. If it was in camera settings, your lighting, cc in post....whatever, it worked brilliantly for me.

Great job! Loved it!

BTS: How we did musical recording for the Vocals in the Chinese Resteraunt we had a blast. Coming from Asian and enjoy everything in that culture I though I wanted that theme to be in my movie.

Ross knows no Asian Languages, But he gave it his best shot. but it underlays well under the movie. enjoy!

You own me! and make me feel absolutely horrible about what I can do with the camera(I'm on the brink f tears).....and I mean that in the best way possible!

This really rocked and I can't wait to see anything else you've done. I think most anything I say now would be repeating something someone else has said, but I just felt I needed to tell you how impressive I found this to be. I'm really jealous of your skills haha.

Only thing I wasnt crazy about was that the first real dialogue scene seemed like it was partially greenscreened, and if it wasnt...the edges looked funky. But thats my only real complaint

Congrats on the awesome movie

appericiate those kind words. I just watched a bunch of films study films and what look the best. OH and had a good teacher (matt.)

But i painted and drew alot used to do comic books 3 years ago. I still do work like that on the side I guess i've just had perspective and rules of third and all that jazz like a given. if camer work is a problem study films and story board its a pretty good excercise.
