Cleaning c70 sensor

Some dust has collected on the sensor (or rather IR cut glass) on my c70. Does anyone know the proper sensor swab for it? Thanks

Those swabs can be nightmare with streaks.

Presumably the dust is affecting the image and some air blowing didn't work?

People use those squeeze ones, but I like the compressed air cans (although not saying to use one).

They're usually not recommended but I always have one nearby for something; they are stronger and work well (as long as you don't shake the can).

I clean my DSLR sensors about 4 times a year with swabs, it always takes a couple of goes because of the streaks. Must be the shutter that does it because if I just use a blower and brush it doesn't work (probably tiny drops of oil).
I've only had to clean my C300 sensor a couple of times and I used a brush for that - few puffs on the brush with a blower to give it a static charge and it comes straight off.

Unless the dust is actually 'gummed' on by far the best dust removal process, I've used for years now, and it hasn't failed me yet is static removal. Using the VisibleDust Arctic Butterfly.

Tried the sensor swabs. PITA with the corners (vignettes) on the c70 sensor. Now there's a spot on my sensor near the top of the frame that I can't remove. It may have been there before but I just didn't notice? Anyway, only shows up with my FF lenses (with both the focal reducer and straight RF to EF adapter). Doesn't show with my s35 Sigma 18-50 RF, I'm assuming because it's at the top of the sensor (or bottom - I think it's reversed?) Not sure what to do now...

Did you think of trying something like this? Some fairly good reviews. Never used it myself, but maybe food for thought?

Ouch. I’m lucky enough to live close to a Canon service center so I know they do a good job. I wouldn’t dare try to swab the sensor myself.

I did wind up sending it to Canon. Hoping they don't try to charge me because apparently others have had this problem. I don't believe the sensor block is properly sealed (maybe dust is entering through the air exhaust vents?)
