I've recently moved into a new office space which I will film out of. It has a drop ceiling which makes rigging gear to the ceiling challenging, however, I prefer it because it cuts down on cable clutter on the ground a ton.
My plan is to use scissor mounts for drop ceilings, an extension pole, and a ballhead on every piece of gear which would include GH5s, Intellytech LC-160s, other various light fixtures, microphones, and cables. Wherever I add a piece of gear, I plan on adding additional drop ceiling wire for support.
I'm curious if I'm going to regret this in a year for some unforeseen reason like the ceiling drooping over time despite the added support. Anyone have experience in this area?
Gear to be used:
1. Scissor mount: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/857311-REG/impact_srp_124_scissor_mount_for_drop.html
2. Extension pole: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/prod...s_429499_Telescopic_Baby_Stand_Extension.html
3. Ballhead (mostly for lightweight objects): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1631590-REG/impact_br_mbh_baby_receiver_with_mini.html
