The most disturbing film I have EVER seen!!!

Check out Tetsuo, The Iron Man.
That ought to creep you out pretty effectively. Just on weird-value
alone...

I was lucky enough to find a copy of it through blockbuster about 3 blocks from here.
Quite surprising to me. I had never heard of it.

Have not watched it yet. It's on my agenda for tomorrow after the 'Big Breakfeast', ya know. Kind of a Sunday thing.

I did skip through a few scenes out of curiousity though and it looks as you said. All 3 skips were pretty out there and gory disturbing stuff.
I'm almost hesitating to watch it now, no shi*, haha.

[uncalled for Blockbuster rant->]
BTW, Das Boot, the German version costs me $30 on special order.
'And' the store guy tried to convince me into buying the English version (in stock) because the subtiles would distract me from whats going on.
'It's hard to read subtitles and watch at the same time' he said.
Garrrrrggghhh. Jeeeeezz. Happy to say I own the original, and ONLY, German version.

Ooooh, first mistake, dude.
haha.

...

Oh, that book I was talking about was called Cold Cold Heart.

Not sure if it would stand up today because it dealt with harvesting body parts which was very timely history wise.
But if you bump into it at the library, maybe grab it up.

Just watched Tetsuo. Well that was certainly one tripped out movie. The blood and guts weren't boring I can say that much.

1. Elephant Man - A deformed man in ol' England gets abused. Black & white and creepy as hell. Especially to a ten year old boy. What were my parents thinking!?
2. Motel Hell - In a remote hotel, visitors were abducted & buried to their necks in the garden with their thoats slit and stiched, as well as a sack thrown over their heads as they gargeled in pain. The villian also ran around with a chainsaw and pig head over his head.
3. Little Drummer Boy - One scene a group of children pee in a bucket and force/bully a poor child to drink it.
4. Jaws - Never went above my knees in the ocean for years as a child.
5. Borat - Borat walking in on a 300 pound masturbating. Nuff said.
Oh, one other is-
6. The Day After - A made for tv movie on ABC back in 1983 about a nuclear war between the U.S. and Soviet Union.

"Raging Bull" because the character (Jake le Motta?) played by Dinero was real and that's a very scary thought.

"Raging Bull" because the character (Jake le Motta?) played by Dinero was real and that's a very scary thought.

And reportedly, the actual Jake La Motta asked one of his friends if he was really that bad, and his friend replied, "You were worse!"

I just seen a film called 'Eyes Wide Shut' adapted and directed by Stanley Kubrick. There is a mass sex scene about 2/3 into the movie that takes place in a mansion. This is probably one of the creepiest things I've seen in a movie. The musical score is a trip.

The Story of Ricky- probably the most goriest martial arts film ever made that I can remember.

Not sure about horror films. I remember seeing a really gorey film but it didn't have a title to it. Now that's must be bad.

I thought it was going to be Elizabethtown... you know somethings wrong when Kirsten Dunst's performance outshines anyone else in the movie. Why can't they only cast Orlando Bloom as a mute who's always eating lemons, he'd rock that role.

Benny's Video - a 1992 Dutch film.

The murder scene is truley disturbing yet you see nothing.
It's only sound and your imagination yet it's one of the most disturbing things you'll (not) see.

If you want disturbing see "Funny Games"

The violence mostly happens offscreen and the terrible things your imagination comes up with are much worse than what can be shown onscreen.

One of my favorite vampire movies is Salem's Lot which was made for TV and had no more than one drop of blood but it worked because of good writing and a very isolated and helpless mood.
That movie came out in '79 or '78 I believe and it still gives me the creeps today so it's not just kids when it's done right.

Open the window .......

Yeah that scared the crap out me , my brothers and sisters and our cousins to, watched it on betamax back in the summervacation of 1984 ; which is in august here .

But it was not disturbing just the start of a whole new series of nightmares and ofcourse Rosemary's Baby The mother of all nightmares.......... what have you unlocked in me........ aaahhh.
