Explosion, three RED's and a lot more fun in one shorty :D

Looking forward to seeing this Casper.

Will you have a trailer later on that you can post a link to?

I'm wondering about what your plans are for distribution but maybe it's too soon to ask that.

Will you be including a version with English sub-titles this time around? I know you've been thinking about doing that.

Hey Gord,
We're not sure wheter or not we're gonna make a trailer because the final film will be about 20 min. A shorty, so maybe we would give away too much in a trailer. Bit still under discussion here ;-)

Subtitles definitely, together with a website with a whole English section :D I just saw the first version of this site, looking good already...
Website and film should be finished in June (the a bit site sooner I hope)

Yeah.. Distribution.. It's quite difficult because of the length (approximately 20min.).
Maybe we can make a deal with some distributor to place it on a DVD together with a feature film. But I'm not sure they will do that...
Do you have any ideas?
It would be a shame when it ends up in the closet somewhere...

Casper

I really don't know anything about distribution but If I read something around here that sounds applicable I'll let you know.

Were you thinking about entering it into some festivals then, assuming your happy with it?
There are some that allow shorts of this length and longer.

Hey Gord!

Festivals are one of the options too! Indeed! We're not totally sure about which festivals we're gonna join, but as much as possible (only when I'm happy whith the result of course...). And with the english subtitles it might be possible to go international for this also...

Well, it wasn't as expensive as it was. haha!
That means: we've got a LOT of help from some companies: grip was free, light was free, crew was free and we've got a lot of discount for the camera equipment and also Wiessenhaan (GREAT guys, both Harry and Ricky! They also did Mondhunters and that kind of things. The're really good! So if you'll need stunts, explosions, guns, etc... ) gave us a nice deal.

But of course we did make some costs (22,225.- Euro's that is), and we've had the mony from six different Cultural Funds.

The next thing I wanna do is making a film abroad. That's something I really want to learn! :P

Looks good Casper.

Wonder if you know of David Sakurai? He is from Denmark, but pretty close to you.

Haha, I'll do my best, but first watch the result and judge later ;-)

Hey Noel! I don't know David Sakurai unfortunately. I know Europe is small, but not thát small; Denmark is quite another country :P
But I'd wish I did, cause I see he is a filmmaker with great Martial Arts skills... Would have been interesting!
