squig, you can get a 20m 1.8 nikkor for under $300.00 which is the same as a 28mm. What are you talking about?

I have my D90 mounted on a steadytracker with a 28mm nikkor prime. I can run with it, do crane like tracking moves, pans........no jello. And I'm no pro steadicam operater, I was getting these smooth shots after a days practice. There may be some minor jello but your average punter isn't gonna see it and I'm not gonna cry about it.
There is new footage of the GH1 online:

But handheld work will suffer. Which is a style i often use. It's mostly noticeable with thoes slight sways to the left and then to the opposite direction ,where all straight lines start to bend left and right.

As far as I can see the 1080 clip is actually a totally different camera (the fh1) a very consumer point and shoot kind of video camera.....
Sorry, but can you recognize the headline above the clip: "1080p24.0 shot at 1/60th second using prototype GH1"
But maybe now I´m the one who is a bit slow on the uptake... ;-)
The site has been updated as it states next to the video, it said fh1 before which is a sanyo consumer camcorder.
Wide Lens. Alright, as soon as I get the greenlight I'll show you some test footage on RED that's ALL handheld... @ 135mm and greater. That'll restore your confidence.
Just gotta wait til we know what's up.
Please post!
