Well, the old voting system it wouldn't have worked... But, with the current rating system, it makes perfect sense and embodies exactly what one of the main purposes of the new system is all about. Give the filmmaker as much data as possible to gauge audience response. Both in anonymously given ratings (numbers) and direct feedback/reviews in their threads.

Yes. I meant since they implemented the 10 star rating system.

As long as the groups are kept separate it should work fine.

Good luck to everybody in this fest. It seems that also this time there will be a nice choice of films - I am very curious and like to watch all of them . I am away from Berlin for some days.
