"Time In A Bottle"- A film by Robbie and Kegan

Our tentative shoot date of Wednesday February, 11th might have to be postponed due to rain. I'll discuss with Robbie, but that's what it looks like its shaping up to be.

The shoot/film may or may not be done...For the deadline at least.

Lets hope the cast and crew can get together to shoot this in the next week or so...Other than that, this thing may not make it for the deadline :(

Everything is ready to go though,

Robbie

Nice grabs! I'm always interested in shorts with children in them. They're a challenge, but I think ultimately more impressive if you pull it off.

So far in editing, I'm finding there acting is GREAT!

I can't wait till it's finished.

Thanks for the comment!

Robbie

Thanks Mike.

I think you're gonna be WAY to surprised to see this...

I think the kids acting are better than the average teen/adult...What I find so far editing this..

I can't believe it, and I hope it's as good as I think it is when it's finished. The acting and story so far seem to be really making this good!

Robbie

Well, after our first day of shooting...all I have to say is I have NO idea why people complain so much about working with kids! Granted, it is a little tougher and we were shooting in the cold for 6-7 hours, but they handled it like champs.

The key is definitely to make sure to give them enough breaks, lots of encouragement and have a LOT of patience.

There was some fiddling around with presets that PaPa and others created, so kudos to them for helping get the look we were going for.

I'm happy with the way today's shoot went and look forward to shooting again next week. Our sound guy Paul (last name ?) was fantastic and remained very professional throughout, though clearly we were in a budget he is not used to working in.

Anybody have any questions?

Kegan

It was sort of cold, but everyone knew exactly what to wear and how to prepare for the shoot. Preparation is key and we just gritted our teeth and kept going until the day was done.

I was comfortable with the budget. I also saw a rough cut of it and it turned out fantiastic. I tell you those toque mics is one of the best wiring jobs I've done. T'was fun. Looking forward to the final outcome.
