Couple of scenes from a feature being shot with a HF100

Me and a friend are shooting the first act of a feature lenght with a HF100. We are doing the first 28 pages. Some close ups are being shot with the Jag35Pro 35mm adapter attached. I had problems the first couple days with grain and cruddy image with the adapter. This footage is from the 4th day of shooting and we have worked out some of the kinks. Needless to say visually it's kind of a mixed bag and I'm probably not gonna do this again LOL

EDIT: We are almost done with the project and are about to start the official marketing/festival push. Here is the first teaser trailer

Wow the HF100 is really good. Do you have manual iris or do you have to set it for every shot?

hold up.... you shot that on the little consumer HF100? I was trying to figure out how to scrape together enough dough for the Panasonic HVX200, but if that is the quality you get for that amount of money out of those little Canon HD cams i might have to rethink my options.

The scene looks great! Good luck at festivals!

I won an hf100 and was wondering since you shot a feature on it could you give me some tips on using it? How do you best set it up with a 35mm adapter?

Man... doesn't this piss you guys off? I know for me it does cuz I keep spending so much money trying to get a look like that with all these "pro" cameras and am still unsuccessful.

One tip is to mask out the sparks from the gun so that they don't go left of her head, since you're not pointing the gun that way.
And you should use a more fiery muzzle flash and light up the scene a bit to make it look a bit more realistic.

How did you get souch lovely footage from a HF100? Really nice work!
My HG21 produces a lot of grain, so I'm switching it to a Sony HDR-SR12
