Noise is reduced, and speed is helped a lot if you use Zacuto Zip gears or simlar, since the fewer number of teeth alters the gear ratio between the motor and the lens.

Its a reasonable length. Of course, not everyone that has said they will buy one actualy will buy one when it comes to paying for it, but I think it will do quite well.

The website will have a redrock style reservation form up soon.
 
Its the same knob, and the white disk are the same dimensions but the aluminium plate that holds it all together is a custom machined part. it looks exactly the same though.

Its nice, I like it.

Also as a fellow Flyer (LE) Operator i must say.. VERY IMPRESSIVE !!
I have been follow you for some time now, always with a smile on my face when you post a topic like a RED on the Flyer.. and now, your own follow focus system .. what can i say, unbelievable !

Hope to see this in production within some months.. would be wonderful to put on my rig and help many dudes with there filmprojects without breaking the bank.

Thanks for letting me meet up with you today at video expo and see the HOFO.
Its a great piece of kit, simple, solid, no nonsense, easy to use and works perfectly.
