what is with this panasonic ,so called "$400 rebate" for purchase of new 64 gb ,or 32 gb p2 card. only glitch is you have to send them a old 4gb or 8gb p2 card. call it what it is , a "trade in sale. " i was happy now i am bummed. it is what it is. dissapointed again. didn,t they learn anything on the last "don,t worry we will send you your p2 card deal" .

this is where people look when they buy or sell p2 cards. if some company has a deal going ,good or bad. buying selling ,trade in, rebate? if you were in the market for a p2 card?

Let's move this (important thread) to a different/appropriate section . . .

I happen to agree with the original poster--if you actually read the rebate form it is by no means a "rebate" . . . it's a partial buy back. I'm a big (and loyal) fan of Panasonic but I have to say this smacks of something done more to make sales/marketing look good than it's ever going to do to benefit the end user. I mean, c'mon, who's sitting on their old cards anyway . . . most of us sold 'em off in anticipation of price drop when the 32's came out (fooled us, no?).

Who knows . . . maybe Christmas will come in April . . . NAB.
