I've looked at that one.

It doesn't have an extender, is 8x, no servo zoom controller.

It's not going to be used only for cinematic work.

Seems more similar to a Prime lens with zoom, than anything else.

Yes it is a cine lens vs ENG lens. Sorry I cant help you much on ENG glasses, perhaps others will have more experience with it.

Being the 500 I wouldnt tend toward a too wide a lens unless thats really important.

Keep in mind that one is 4 lbs and the other is 6lbs. I got the KJ 21ex7.6B IRSD and love it.

Aren't the KJ series CAC lenses? If you ever need to use this lens on another body which has no CAC support, you might have issues.
