Anyone have any new or interesting scene files to share?

I was wondering if anyone has any scene files they thought worked really well.

Also, with all the snow (none here yet), has anyone had any really good or bad experiences shooting in snow? I know snow shooting was discussed a few threads back.

wow, this is weird, i just got together a pretty good snow setting. i was shooting some snowboarding the other day. i was aiming for really bright colors on the riders clothing, and the snow white as possible. i white balanced off the snow, and the colors probably would have looked better if it wasnt so goddamn over cast!!! but overall im happy with them. here are the grabs and the scene file info:

im going to mess with CC a bit later, but for straight out of camera looks, im happy.

What kind of fisheye is this? Are you working with AF and fisheye? On the second image the borders seem to be a bit out of focus.

Wow thats some vibrant colours coming from a Panny cam! :O I have a prejudice that Panny cams usually have saturated colours off the cam but you proved me wrong!

yea its the 16x9 inc fisheye. I am manually focusing, i dont really mind the vignetting at all, its hardly noticeable.

WOW. Your Master Ped is at -59? I don't think I've gone lower than -20. I'll have to test it too.

One of the tradeoffs to DRS is it introduces noise (At least from what I've read). Do you notice the noise at all with these setting for the scene file?

By the way, nice work!

thank you!!! and no, i did not notice any noise in particular, it was a pretty bright day, even though it was overcast, the snow reflects a lot of light. i saw no noticeable noise.

the only differences are between the 2 is one is bayo and the other is screw, i think the 16x9 has more barrel distortion as well.

I find it hard to do CC with avchd or dvcprohd.
So I made these scenefiles. They just need a little brightness & contrast .
Adjust the Color temp ach and bch to your surroundings.
The ND filters do help alot.
I'll be posting an edit on vimeo soon from the nature shots.
Hope you like them .

This was shot with ND1/16 to 1/64 and a shutterspeed of 250. because of an overcast.

Same scenefile as above but with no ND filter.

Thanks,

I had some trouble with this cam in the beginning but Im starting to get the hang of it. Still learning though.

Same here. I like my results more after every shoot.

I certainly learned not to be scared of extremes with the scene files.
