Difference between really expensive fisheyes and cheap ones?

Cheap lenses mean cheap glass, and that can kill your image. The link you provided is for a $150 package including two lens attachments (fisheye and telephoto) plus 4 filters. That's a lot of stuff for only $150, which leads me to believe that the glass is not the best quality.

Spend a little more to buy a single lens attachment.

The 0.43x has to do with the magnification. 2x means that the image is magnified by two, which narrows the field of view. Same as the zoom rating on your camera (10x). Because fisheye lenses actually work to incorporate more light information, the magnification is reversed and falls below 1x, since it widens the field of view.

Ah thanks for your quick response :)

What fisheye lens would you recommend? I really don't wanna be going above like 400 at most.

also, you mention that cheap glass can ruin an image. Would that be due to the imperfections and/or bumps in the glass or something?
