Mac Users - Anyone Want A Mac Version of Panasonic's AVCHD to p2 Converter?

Except the AVCCAM view converts the folder structure to a near compliant BDMV blu ray disc

That is mainly what I was using it for, but now wish I just copied the files over to preserve the file dates. I am working on a tool to go back and forth between bluray and the camera's file structure since it is just a matter of renaming files/folders. I would like to be able to do more, but I would need some specs on the files. Anyone know if Panasonic makes this information public? Maybe Jan could answer that.

The other main use for AVCCAM viewer is creating meta data. Not sure if there is another way for mac users to do that either.

Panasonic has not indicated that it will provide a Mac compatible converter as it has done for Windows.

Not certain why -- given the Mac market share we have.

Panasonic hasn't been all that supportive with Mac software, they seem to provide Windows utilities far quicker. With that said, Panasonic doesn't even make that converter, MainConcept does, so perhaps pestering them would be productive?

sales (at) mainconcept (dot) com is probably a good place to start... or maybe not, but it's the only e-mail addr I could find on their site.
