I am starting up a sketch comedy group with my friends. We are called Inside Joke Films We have shot some sketches with the DVX100a.

We just finished one called No Homo. You can see it at youtube or on vimeo.

Any feedback would be really appreciated! Two other shorts are there along with it.

I also have a music video posted up that I made for the label Doghouse Records. You can view it here.

Once again feedback for anything would be really appreciated :)

I laughed out loud. Especially at the basketball scene. That was really funny.

This whole thing could be edited down a bit. I bet you could take a minute out of the banter and make the cuts quicker.

I like how you take this short to some unexpected places. The premise itself is good enough for SNL.

That's pretty laugh out loud for me, good concept but ran a little long. One thing that can really increase your production value though is to plan ahead from one shot to another. There was one long take where you simply pan the camera from one person to another, and you frequently missed the person who was actually talking. Either avoid these type of shots and use cuts or make the panning very deliberate.

Ramy Ramy Ramy this movie reminds me of my college days before I dropped out.
Anyways the clip was hilarous ,like the whole feel to it , no homo,
Very" The Office " like but funnier.
The only thing that "buttered" me was the big ass Apple logo in the beginning but no homo right :)

Thanks a lot for all the feedback! :)

I agree, this definitely could be edited down - we have a sweet tooth for banter though. I think if we thought people would watch the whole thing it would have been a ten minute short film but...

Huy Vu - The shot being focused on the person that wasn't talking was definitely a bit of a drawback in some shots - usually we have a loose script so sometimes lines are added or cut that throw off those up close takes. I agree that we gotta do that only when it makes sense.

Thanks a lot for everyone who watched! We shot a few more and are now editing. I'll be sure to post them up here to show you guys.

Thanks again for watching!
