I was practice shooting some paraglider's yesterday and found this blue banding on the bottom edges of the subject images.... Ever seen it? Kinda looks like an out of alignment projector TV.

Specs:
HVX 200, Stock lens shot at 720P24 @ 60 frames (overcranked) on a firestore set to QT/PN. Shutter @ 500 scene file 1 ... Autofocus ( I hate to admit it but I had to )

And yes thats a dog.

Thanks Guys,
Nava

are you talking about the blue or in my case i see purple outlines on the subject in frame, cause I noticed that.

Thank you sooo much. Now I just need to understand better what causes it and how to avoid it. If I read it correctly.... sounds like the stock lens.

I see it.
I wonder if the HVX200A would have the same results.
hmm???

Yes it will, infact every lens ever made has CA, there are levels of it. The higher quality the lens, the less CA there will be. Newer cameras like the HPX500 and above have digital correction for CA, pretty good.....not perfect.

Things that make CA more apperant.

-High contrast (white sky over dark parachuter.)
-Zooming in (the wider the shot less CA)
-Cheap lenses
