Just got my 200a....Sort of

I think my parents got me an hvx200a for Christmas and I saw my dad carrying in a B&H box last night. It's gonna be torture until the 25th! When I do open it up is there anything real important I need to be sure not to throw out? Thanks, Merry Christmas!
 
Jeez, when I was kid, I was lucky to get a bike for Christmas. You get a $5,000.00 camcorder? Nice parents.

I think there's something to buying your first big boy camera! I bought my HVX using my savings... and it's made me that much more dedicated to mastering it!
 
It could be a present for your parents for...don't even think about it. :)

Whatever you do, don't shake it. The HVX can be damaged and end up with the dreaded "Clunk" when you roll it back and forth.
If it does, just send it to me.
