A film by Drew Ott....

Still no idea on the script. A few possible concepts kicking around but nothing much. I'm going to spend a lot of time thinking of a premise that really inspires me, so this "lack of ideas" isn't worrying me.

You can do it Drew. I'm onto my 4th rewrite right now tryign to fit the theme, so think of it this way: you're still conceptualizing and saving yourself a bit of work. And then all of a sudden you'll get a flash of brilliance and boom you'll have a nice complete script that only needs polishing...

damn. i almost envy you.
 
John -- somehow missed that PM when you sent it. I think we should definitely both help each other out. No idea when I'm shooting yet.

Rodney -- Thanks for the motivation. I think the concept should get the most attention, so that's what I'm trying to do. I wouldn't envy a person with writer's block though. :)

Yes, I did. It's basically done, but I want to re-do the second half of it, as I think it can go a different route..

No problem Drew! I'm hoping to shoot in January/early Feb. so it gives me plenty of time to key and rotoscope. Just let me know what you need on your project and I'm happy to help.

Mmmmmmm.... this thread made me hungry!

I love the Salt Lick. I am planning on at least two visits before I leave the Austin area.

Speaking of which.... Drew, I'd love to help out. I am sure that I won't be around for your shoot but heck, I'd sit through a brain-storming session!

Now... back to that BBQ talk!

I'm almost certain I won't be shooting before you leave Austin, but I'll definitely let you know if there's some way you can get involved in the time you are here.

Thanks for the heads up on the Arts Center Drew. Jan 10 was the first open Saturday for my auditions.

I've got 10-2, I'm not going to need that entire time, so if you want you can use part of that time for your auditions. If you bring donuts I'll even stick around to help you!
