Blocky Footage

Hi guys

I know it might just be the tape, but I don't have a spare right now to try it out with. I'm worried though that this problem isn't caused by the tape...

I wen't out and filmed the rememberance day parade and my footage came back badly due to the gain being left on by accident. But throughout my footage these blocks appear which seem to be little blocks of other footage on the tape. What could be the problem.

Is that happening playing back live from the camera, or only on the captured footage from the computer?

I get it straight from the camera

it could be dirty heads.

Tried a new tape, seems to have solved the problem! cheers guys
