The Mods used to say no to animated Gif banners. Not sure if they changed their tune.

So you know, her face is posterized and I can see strange artifacts in the black areas. I'm on a PC...

I'm pretty sure I saw a mod (or 2) say it was fine to have an animated banner...

[Rodney V. Smith]

fine, i admit it: it was KIND of Dustin's idea to animate.... but it WAS born out of a conversation we were having about the poster. Wait, just read the conversation and it seems I did kind of suggest it, but only as a throwaway....

He beat me to the punch. and it was kind of his idea, so he's not as much of an ass (I said ass) as I may have made him seem.

How's that for a half-assed (ther eit is again) apology?

[Dustin R. Rogan]

LOL thats great

Rogan

[Rodney V. Smith]

We should check with a mod then before I animate mine. be sure that it's cool.

I saw the artifacts on the poster... gotta clean those puppies up
