Hey guys,
I haven't posted anything for a while so i thought i'd share a new vid i've worked on...
http://www.vimeo.com/2243836http://www.vimeo.com/2243836
Uprezzed to 1280x720p using Adobe media encoder mpeg 1-pass setting.
It's a promotional video diary for the pre-fab build company i work for. We basically manufactured and built a whole school building in Corfe Castle, Dorset, in like 6 weeks and errected it in 7 days. It was really hard because i was building at the same time as filming it on my own so i had to juggle both jobs and not piss my fellow builders off whilst doing it.
Shot on DVX PAL, 25p, no adapters, no special settings, i haven't even had time to colour correct yet so that's the main reason for me posting this - what, if any colour correction does it need? I wanna keep it quite neutral without all the tints, diffusion, de-saturation, boosted contrast etc that we normally use to make our stuff look 'cooler'.
Just a warning that i didn't use my shotun mic on this one as it was too hard to shoot with it bouncing around on a building site, so all interviews are conducted with built in mic which caused problems with background noise from cranes, kids, hammering etc, but i couldn't really help it. It's just pretty raw, but still acceptable i think?
Here's some stills...
