Just got my Jag35Pro today, here's a looksy:

There is a bunch of rack focusing and focus hunting footage used to match the feel of the music but it's actually pretty easy to focus on the built in LCD of the HF100

Impressions and Observation:
1) Battery compartment cover was off. Poped it in place but the tabs were loose. A couple small pieces of scotch tape secured it just fine.
2) The fit and finish seem ok, feels solid enough but time will tell.
3) I ordered the FD mount, unfortunately it's plastic and not very well built (cheap manufacturing?), definetly would have liked a nice metal mount. Also its a little "off" and you have to force the lens or the body cap on a little bit to get it to line up.
4) The insides look clean and everything seems solidly in place, no rattles or loose parts inside, THANK GOD!!!!, and Jehu :-p
5) It came with an allen wrench but there is no allen screw at the base to adjust. This might be a function of the new GG thats round so it doesnt have to be oriented in a particular position. Maybe Jehu could chime in on this. But the HF100 has no problem zooming in past the motor and still focusing on the GG.
6) Motor is very quiet, mine was charged up and ready to vibrate. Light is bright green when on, but does not light up when it is off and the charger is pluged in.
7) The most IMPORTANT part, the visual quality seems MUCH MUCH MUCH IMPROVED with this new round GG design. I was worried about the edge to edge sharpness, while it's not a Letus Extreme or SGpro etc, it is a lot better than what I've seen online from older footage. There is still chromatic aberrations on wider brighter shots and some hot spotting, but with careful framing and lighting setup/control it can really deliver some nice shots.

thnx man, one of my nieces.
the GG is too grainy for me. I asked for 5micron but honestly it looks blockier than 20micron clips I've seen, so I'm not sure what's going on??? doubt it's 5 micron though
I'm building a static with the Canon EE-A screen and a cinevate achromat for my HVX200a, hopfully it'll look decent.
