Oversold: starring Crissy Moran

But the old actor is at least a good actor, and the name actor who works for a few days is probably a good actor, whereas the former porn star isn't a competent actress. They never are. Well, I've never seen one.

And that goes for Mr. Universe type body builders as well... in other words, the specific skills involved for one type of performance, may not translate into another form of performance... this is true for skills such as singing, at least pop songs... and acting... especially in one particular well known case...

Some times I think the draw with Schwatzenecke was sort of like rubbernecking on the Freeway... He has despite even my own Democrat sentiments, at least showed skills in organization, delegation, and executiveness in his tenure as Gobenator... so, perhaps act really wasn't his vocation after all...

I think Arnold was simply a great action hero. Takes basic acting and the ability to look tough when needed and flex some muscles. He could do that.

Thanks for all the replies! The Premiere was great! I'll post some pictures in a bit... if any of you watch the Today Show, Crissy will be on this Friday - I think she mentions that she was working on this film. Who knows if they cut that out or not... we'll see.

Trailer was nice, but the aspect ratio felt like it was adopted after everything was shot... some of the framing looked like it was intended for 16:9 and I could swear I saw a Pan and Scan thrown in there!

Hah! Thanks for all the comments. It was shot for the proper aspect ratio... Except for the church scene with all the closeups. That was a mistake! we definitely shot without the 2.35 guides that day - but i felt the extra tightness made it feel more tense, so overall I am pleased.

Where did you see a Pan and Scan? lol.

thanks for all the discussion, you guys definitely made my night!

how are you promoting the movie?

how are you driving traffic to your web page?

how much did it cost you to put up the sales page?

currently running a test on myspace ads but at the moment we haven't done much of anything else. we are negotiating a college circuit tour for the spring and we will focus hard on promotions at that point. till then it is just word of mouth and some good old fashioned gorilla marketing.

how much for the sales page? Nothing. I built it myself. Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver. the download clips are hosting thru e-junkie.com and for dvds we are using amazon's createspace.com - both of which require little to no upfront cost.

hopefully we can make it work...

rock it.

It's been exciting to see the response over this... esp. with a potential tour of sorts! :)

e-junkie.com

works rather flawlessly, the buyer gets an email with a download link that expires. you specify how many times they can download and or how long before it expires. the cost is based on your file size and is a monthly fee not a per transaction fee...

I just bought your movie for $7.99 because i liked your website and how easy it was to order the movie instanly. You deserved it.

It's amazing what people are capable of doing now as far as distribution goes. Very cool.

Good job putting that site together too... now go buy some lattes with my money.
