The story was very intrigues and I like the cinematographic. Twisted is for me the better one of your two entries! Compliments

I also enjoyed this film a lot more then the other entry. I thought the acting was a lot stronger and the dialog exchange seemed more realistic. The story was funny and intriguing.

I am probably one of the few that liked your other entry better. The story didn't really grab me. I liked the opening credit sequence and the rack focus moves, and it was interesting to see the viewpoints of the politicians. I didn't need to see him pee for such a long time though.
Looking forward to your next fest entry, or entries!
John
Hey,
Thanks so much for your comments on my thread! I'll be dropping back in on this thread soon after I watch "Twisted." Really looking forward to it! Thanks again.
I think this worked much better than your other entry. The acting was really good and the whole film just had a much more solid feeling to it. The story was still a little hard to follow, but somehow it didn't matter too much since the dialogs and the cutting backwards and forwards were holding my attention. One small detail worth mentioning - I didn't like the wide angle close-ups of the two characters around 4:14. They didn't really fit with the image of the rest of the film. Thanks for some enjoyable viewing.

I can tell that you are having fun making films and learning, keep it up!
Like "Enchanting", I liked the use of the short clips establishing the central location, "the garage".
Wow. Lots of dynamic camera movement: slider, tripod tilts, etc.
I found the use of the rack focus during one of the dialogue sequences to be very repetative. At first I thought "nice!", but after the third time, it lost it's appeal.
I liked your use of odd shooting angles, it complimented the "twisted" theme.
I'm glad you provided an explanation of the film here in the thread. I got a little lost once the two captives decided to make a break for it.
P.S. - When I saw the power line shot at the end, I couldn't help but think of your adventures there!
Hey, Zaza, this was pretty cool man. I liked it. It kept you on the seat of your pants.
Your stuff is definitely improving. I can see you're going places. We should try and do a project someday.![]()
Thanks Neil...all good observations & I'm taking notes! Now I can apply this to my next film. I think it's going to be about a deformed proctologist who has 12" fingers...it's called "Rectal Medicine". Look for it next spring!
Thanks Tom! ...and I'm sure I can find a part for you...say... just how long are your fingers anyway? (see previous post)
I know a few Urologist's. One goes by the nickname of Big Finger.![]()
