Jack Daniel Stanley, I've really enjoyed your other films in the fests here at DVXUser, and I'm very much looking forward to this one. That is a wicked poster!

Wow.. thanks Jack!

Love the addition of the cast on there... it helps the design to have more assets on the page. Really diggin' it!

Our final cast member - dj hazard!!

Our final cast member - dj hazard!!

Thrilled to announce our final addition the Cast:

DJ HAZARD.

He was cast some weeks ago, but no time to do thread stuff - all pre-pro all the time. And thanks to Mark Harris for arranging our initial meeting

See a bit of his stand up :Drogar-Mark-07(DBG)

DJ will be playing the role of Detective Burton. Some of you may remember Detective Burton from Scriptfest. Screenwriter John Whalen and I have been hard at work on the script and this scene has recieved lots of John's TLC since scriptfest. I think it will be a good one. DJ is a very talented guy, and the "tough cop" role I've cast him in will hardly hint at his colorful repertoire, though I'm sure all of his diverse experience will come into play at some level.

To scrape the surface - DJ is one of the original Boston Comics where he was a founding member of the infamous Ding Ho Club (whose members include Steven Wright, Bobcat Goldthwait, Paula Poundstone, Jimmy Tingle, Denis Leary, Lenny Clarke, Brian Kiley and Barry Crimmins)

He's also somehow involved with this very interesting musical group.

I think as a frequent guest performer. Although I've only been exposed to this band through their myspace page, my wheels are already turning, thinking of things I could pitch them to collaborate on.

(some crazy New York theater thing)

More on DJ and his diverse exploits later, I plan to do a blurb on each of the three cast members over the next couple of weeks but wanted to introduce you all to our latest addition DJ.

Oh yeah, anyone see a resemblance to Stebbins?

Wow the resemblance is eerie. Very cool addition to the cast. Hope to see BTS and updates as they become available and as time allows to post them of course. Good luck guys!

Yeah I'm planning on growing my hair back out too.

Oh wait. Mine doesn't grow back.

Speaking of look alikes ...
Is that Ralph Malph from Happy Days seated next to Kyle?

Speaking of hair. As some of you know, mine was pretty long for a while (not unlike that old picture of you Kyle) but finally last week I got tired of dealing with it (my hair does not lay flat on its own, you know) and I had it cut on Friday. Unfortunately it was cut MUCH too short for me to be happy (not as short as yours is in the other picture, Kyle) and I think I am going to wear a beanie tomorrow. I don't know, it will get longer in a couple of weeks but I have a shindig to go to next Friday so I am trying to decide what to do about that.

Oh no what a dilemna. I think pics and a seperate thread with poll are in order. I vote for "shave it all off"

I go with Jeff on the bald penguin vote.

Jack, I'm totally stoked at this news. This is going to be an amazing piece and certainly has a wonderful cast to pull it off with. Many kudos!!!!!

Johnson

No bald Penguin. Today is was beanie Penguin, which worked because of the cold morning weather but became suspicious later on - I think that's where the Conspiracy comes in. I am hoping I will be able to pull off hats until it grows out a little but I don't know about the party.

Had the good fortune of stopping bye the Cold Calls set today. It was nice meeting a few people I hadn't met before and seeing Jack and Barry again. From what I saw, this is going to be great. Thanks for the hospitality.

Jim

Hey Jim it was awesome to have you. Thanks for dropping by your help proved invaluable on several instances tonight.

Good to see stuff is going well man. Now get some sleep, I heard people call you at all hours of the night, preventing you from getting proper rest.

Tim.
