I would like to thank the entire community. From all the Mods that spend so much time putting up with all of our shenanigans (you know who you are)...to the wealth of information shared by all the users...to the in-depth reviews of equipment in real-world situations...to the great fests, contests, sponsors and prizes! I'm so glad I happened upon the site (Google does work) and am honored to have been welcomed by the best group of filmmakers the world has to offer. Thank you all.

Thanks Terry! I had to get a quick ride in as it's almost time to put her away for the winter. (I also just picked-up one of those Sticky Pods and wanted to try it out with my little transfer camera...I don't know if I trust it with the DVX yet?)
 
I have been waiting to see your car in action! Congrats. I am actually going to go get gas to put in my Trans Am so I can take it for a drive and make sure nothing is wrong with it before I go to FINALLY get it smogged. :)

Yeah... get out there! Bummer about that smogged thing...out here in the country all you have to worry about are Sheriff's, Marijuana fields (what, me worry?)...and Llama's! :thumbup:

I want to see some video of your car next....

Congrats on the 1K Joe and completing 2 entries for the fest.

I'm not car savvy so I was wondering what this was. A tach I assume. So that wouldn't be stock then right? Sorry if I missed any previous posts but how much work has been done to the engine? Does the radio still work?

Tach it is...good eye...and no that's not stock. The radio...well I forgot to mention that I installed a custom 600watt crankin' system. Dual 10" subs in the trunk (200watts) and Quartz MB left & right mounted in the package tray (that's the back area below the rear window)...those each have 200 watts pushing them too. Believe me when I say it cranks! :thumbup:

I can drive it but I only have until the end of this month to complete the smog and registration. Got the gas today but it is too dark to take it out now or to check the transmission fluid (there seems to be a slow leak). Tomorrow it will be done. I did start it up, though, and gosh do I love the sound of a V8...:)
