Pricing non-profit corp video

I am primarily a still shooter but will be using my DVX100b to shoot a 15 minute video (completed) for a friend's company. Mainly interviews, in office. Any suggestions for pricing info?
Obviously, there would be the shooting/creation fee as well as editing. Business practices and pricing questions may not be welcome here, so pardon me if this is an inappropriate request:dankk2:. Thanks for any input.

If you haven't established a rate card, inclusive of the shooting, editing, any other post needs. etc... you should really consider doing so.

My pricing for any production is the same for everyone...

If you feel the need to under price a situation for non-profits and such... Do like I do and quote them a full day for shooting, but only charge them for half a day. Keep good records... they can certainly come in helpful at tax time...

Just because a company is "non profit" in no way means that they don't have money to pay for things. It just means that they can't make a profit over all.

Keep this in mind when creating your pricing structure for them.

Whats up... is there a "Graphic Designer's Guide to Pricing, Estimating & Budgeting Revised Edition" for vp and if not somebody needs to get on that...

Just to stir the cow pie a little more.....
Do you guys factor in any usage? Still photographers do. In other words, do you charge the same for a small "local" business that needs a 5 minute video for their web site as you would if a national company hired you to complete a project that would be seen by millions of people? Thanks.

In a word...

In a word...

Yep...

The only time that may change is when doing "Theatrical Release" stuff... in which you often may want to negoiate for points ahead of time... That of course really depends on the producers and their given track record.

BTW Jeff... I found your online port... man, there's some great stuff there...!!!
