35mm adapter rig photos

IanD that looks dope! Seriously well put together, if I was a layman and didn't know about adapters I'd think that was all just one professional camera.

Willis,

Sure, still using the RR shoulder mount. The shoulder part itself is good. The grips are very prone to slippage due to the fact they only clamp onto one rod at a time. I don't know how they got to market as they are- big oversight and lack of practical field testing on the part of RR. I'm glad though that the hardware came in handy for this rig. I just added a few other pieces like micro mounts and such to bring it all together.

My updated photo with new FF, updated SGflip and Red Rock Mattebox with Zacuto Z-riser.

Here is the non-flip version with Nebtek/Marshall Monitor on Hot Shoe. The tape is for marking off 2:35:1 ratio references.

very well constructed..a lot more heavy duty compared to my original indiefocus. Machined very nicely.

Heres some cool photos. We were shooting in an abandoned garage place, it was a huge depot for servicing and repairing london taxis. Has been closed and unused for about 10 years. Really interesting place.

Bit of an odd video, its about a girl whos had her heart broken, and her and her flatmate kidnap the guy and take him to a warehouse where they force feed him heart shaped biscuits.

SGpro r3, flip, follow focus, Canon FD (new backfocus mount and XY adjustment ring) Redrock mattebox, stadicam flyer.
sorry to quote your pics but....is that ghost kid supposed to be in that picture in the background haha i didnt read that you put it there. :/

Thats abit odd. That place had a very cold and depressing feel about it. Maybe this is why.

These pics came straight off the camera, after being resized and name stamped, they went on facebook.

Tis abit odd that....

I need new underwear.

Hope he didn't ruin any of your shots... otherwise I know of this awesome spirit erase plugin, just shoot me a PM.

however I am not a DOF 35mm user at all with my DVX, this is a fcuk'g interesting thread to read... love to study all the rigs and setups... see how people build their rigs and they film.... thinking for fun to build my own 35mm adapter, have some old nikkor converters I can maybe use for it...

I don't like the flip module so much, a lens is for me a straight long tube with a lot of glass inside and without any knicks or strange turns... it really gives me a odd feeling... maybe is that I am old school trained and light has to fall straight on your film.... just a feeling... lol :)

I suppose a flip module is to avoid flipping the movie in post-processing... but it that really so bad to do so??? or has it any negative result on the quality of the movie?? if it is to monitor your movie during filming, a simple LCD screen can flip it also...
