October - What Scares You?

Bees! They make me scream like a woman. My wife, who grew up on a farm, thinks I'm the biggest pussy about it.

Bees and wasps used to terrify me, too -- I was swarmed a couple of times as a kid.

Wasps still make me nervous -- they're much more aggressive.

Bees, though, tend to leave you alone unless you get seriously up in their business, so they don't really bother me anymore.

I think the thing i'm scared of the most is being scarred. I'm scarred shitless of the thought that theres a chance that one winter no snow will fall anywhere (ski whore yo!). I hate being in a large dark area. A small room is fine but I hate it if its anything bigger then a normal sized house...
Oh, and my funny one (but cmpletely serious), oversized boobs.

Anything bigger than a handful, you're risking a sprained tongue.

Yikes.

When I was 7 or 8, my parents were having a "dinner party" with a bunch of neighborhood friends, and I was at the park across the street with the children of the adults. I was standing under a pavilion when a kid threw a rock at a wasp nest above me. The nest dropped onto me along with a seemingly endless supply of angry wasps. I sprinted into my house through the front door screaming (the wasps were gone by this point), and I ran through the dinner party to the kitchen to put my head under the sink (had tons of bites all over my head). Apparently I didn't let anybody know why I was screaming until 4-5 minutes later, causing somewhat of a panic amongst the adults.

Getting old, fearing a wasted youth, although I'm not wasting it.

Second place is the random and unprejudiced health ailment of cancer. This is not a fear of my health, but those close to me. Just horrible how it strikes with little warning or reason.

How would you represent this in costume form? No idea.

This would make a really cool opener to a film.

So many people share the bee fear...I thought I was one of the only ones. I was stung as a small child so I think the memory has stuck with me in a highly amplified manner.

I was stung by a wasp at a young age, but I'm no more scared than other people. Sometimes I'm the calm one telling other people to not freak out actually (or else it'll sting you and blah blah)... wierd, I would think I'd be terrified...

I´m hard to scare.

Wasps? Got 26 stings in a Boyscout camp when I was a kid - can it get worse?
Darkness/basements/enclosures?? nope.
Spiders/snakes/scorpios? nay (as far as the toxic ones don´t come too close)

Maybe the IRS. They can ruin your life for a little mistake in a blink over here.
Getting a nasty desase.
Upcoming film fest entry of that german bloke with 2 axes and all.

The bigest fear for me is that something happenes to the wive.

Having said that:

I always wanted to stay in a designated hounted house over night (and having a camera with me).
Ya know, the kind a houses wher everybody ether came out in a bag or was send to a nut house after living there for a while.

Crazy? Yup, probably.
