Cool Slow Motion Results (SGpro)

When out shooting on the first real Fall like weather day. I really only wanted to shoot some dead leaves and stuff, but I shot some flowers too. Got bored and brought one shot into Twixtor and slowed it down a lot. It came out pretty smooth. I usually get warping since I don't know what I'm doing so this was a change.

You can see the original shot at :23 in. Mute it

I am pretty sure my lens was open all the way, my nd filter was in the middle and my camera iris was in the middle somewhere too. I used the scene file someone recommended (might have been you) everything normal but detail level plus three and master ped neg seven. I think I always have it like that

I don't know what the blink method is. I didn't focus at all except for the first flower, then I moved down till the second one was in focus

blink

blink

The blink method doesn't really have anything to do with focusing. It is a slow motion technique used in FCP where you add the blink filter on the lower and upper level of the footage by duplicating the footage in two seperate tracks. If you shot it at 60i, you need to conform the clip to 23.98 in cinema tools in order to pull it off correctly.

Here's a link to the thread where I learned how to do it:
