The camera is now being sold WITH an 8GB P2 card included.
I have a sale pending - but in case this one falls through, figured I would throw this back out there.
Given that I'm now bundling in an 8GB P2 card - go ahead and send me an offer if you're interested.

The time has come.
I am selling my HVX200 with all the original accessories (some of which have never been opened).
This includes:
The HVX200
Camera Battery (which I forgot to include in the photos)
A/C Charger
A/C Adapter
Shoulder Strap
Cable Strain Relief
Component Cable
Remote Control (w/ battery)
P2 driver software
Manual
(3) BNC/RCA adapters
XLR input covers
A few notes on the camera itself:
This camera was purchased from Spec-Comm in February of 2007.
I have been the only owner/operator in that time.
Up until 2 weeks ago it was in absolute pristine condition.
2 weeks ago a loose battery in my camera case hit the plastic cover on the infrared port on the back of the HVX, putting a crack in the small plastic cover. I have since taken out the remote (which I had never once used) and checked it out. The remote and the infrared port still work perfectly well. So the crack does not affect the performance at all. I've included a picture of the IR port below for you to see what it looks like.
This week I had another issue come up. While in the middle of a shoot the FireWire port lost its connection. It seems to have a small short, which caused the connection to go on and off. I thought it was gone completely - but have since checked the camera thoroughly and was able to dump P2 footage via FireWire today without issue. However, there IS a short in the firewire port and were I to keep this camera I would get it repaired. However, I figured that perhaps someone out there would prefer to get the camera "as is" if this didn't affect their needs.
The camera can still be mounted to any computer without issue via the USB port on the camera.
The last issue I know of with the camera is a small scratch on the surface of the EVF.
It has never once bothered me or affected my shooting at all - but I've included a photo below so you can see what I'm talking about. The photo seems worse than it is (in my opinion) due to the fact that the flash reflected off the EVF making it seem like two scratches.
To be clear, I am not selling the camera because of these issues - I was already on the reservation list for an HPX170, and confirmed the order yesterday.
Here are a few photos to give you an idea of the camera's condition.
There are two pieces of velcro on the LCD, which I use to connect an LCD hood when shooting outdoors. I will gladly remove the velcro and clean off the body at the buyer's request.
And a shot of the cracked IR port cover (remember the sensor works perfectly fine, it is only the cover which was cracked)
I am also including a copy of Barry Green's HVX Book, as well as the HVX Bootcamp DVD Volume 1 set. This is a two disc DVD on the operation of the HVX and all it's menus which is absolutely indispensible in my opinion for any HVX owner.
I was asking $3250 for all of this.
But now I'm open to offers.
The camera and all accessories will come packaged in the original double boxed Panasonic packaging.
If anyone is interested or has any questions please feel free to drop me a PM anytime. I also have very high resolution versions of all the photos above. If you would like to see those please just let me know.
Thanks for your interest.
