Would love to know what you guys think out there.
I'm most interested in covers that originated as photographs.

I kinda like:

The Who's- "The Kids Are Alright",
Herb Alpert's- "Whipped Cream ans other Delights",
most anything by Roxy Music,
The Beatles- "Let It Be",
The Clash's- "London Calling",
Madonna's- "Madonna",
The Yoshida Brothers- "Hishou"

What else?

Easy. Saw this painted on a van also, in the 80's albeit.
-oops, not a photograph.

I tried to dig up my fav photo cover, Paul McCartney and Linda and thier kid right after the Beatles broke up, but can't find the photo.
My brother has the album at his place and McCartney has like 100's of albums, so, if I stumble on it, I'll post it.

I think this one is just brilliant.
Even if we for a moment put aside things like getting the idea in the first place, just imagine all the things this photographer would have had to go through to get this shot.
Finding a kid.
Saftey.
The kid's parents.
Insurance.

Then getting the lighting, composition and everything right.

I don't know if the hook with the 1 dollar bill is put in afterwards, but I'm guessing it'd pretty much have to be done that way. If not, that's just one more thing that's perfect.

It doesn't sound like it was that big of a deal.
