Giuseppe Arcimboldo's 'Water' on the Kansas 'masque' cover was always a good one.


Also liked Supertramp's 'Crisis,what crisis?' cover.


And Pink Floyd always had some good ones.

A quick comment on diego's post for Deftones 'Diamond Eyes' cover.
That reminded me of Rush's Fly by Night

Strange that I was thinking about the snow owl a couple days ago for some reason.

Yeah, actually, you’re right. I found some stuff on the interweb that said that Kurt C. wanted images of water births, but the record company balked. They then found stock photos but that turned out to be way too expensive (something like $7500.00 a YEAR, WTF?). I guess the kid is now all growed up, and still relishing his 15 minutes from the cover shot.
