Copy clips from P2 to tape... how?

Hello you lovely lot.

Can you help me please? I'm stuck here without my manual, my Bootcamp DVDs are at home - and I find myself needing to transfer a handful of clips to (shudder) miniDV. But I can't work out how, and no amount of web searching or forum trawling reveals the answer.

ahem... unless of course, anyone can tell me how to import files into (shudder) premiere 3.0 (we can't get the 3.1 update cos of network problems... and YES, i know how dodgy that sounds, but it's actually true) heh heh.
 
Ahh - it's ok, I've solved it.

Just in case anyone comes diggin for the same solution here's how you do it.

Switch the toggle on the back from P2 to Tape

Hold down the button to get into playback mode

hold down again (dub mode will flash on screen)

cursor over the starting file you want to transfer

press the two record buttons on the TOP of the camera (red and grey)

wait in ... REAL TIME!!!! shudder ;)


how quickly we forget the horrors of tape!
