Wow, this keeps getting better and better. I'm going to have to echo Mark - you're my idol, dude.
Random techie question - I just finished watching a bunch of your festival BTS vids on blip.tv and was curious who your camera operator is? Similar to the way I shoot, really dig the style. Is that all handheld or does he use a shoulder mount...?

the style in IFHY or in those microdocs? Matt Garrett and I were both camera ops on IFHY. all handheld, no should mount or anything.
the microdocs are also all handheld, all HV20 footage, shot by both Kevin K. Shah (writer/director) and Jamie Cobb (editor).

Great work. I agree with most others--the 9 minute cut really helps the story. The color and feel are amazing.
I can't wait to see your next production.

finally got some pics back from the big sur film festival trip!
I ran around with an old nikkormat film camera with a busted light meter and just ran off shots here and there.
Here is John and Marion roaming the coast
John taking a picture
Tobey really like IFHY, and kept bringing us wine during the screening. He eventually invited us back to his place
I imagine he hangs out here a lot
Everyone catching a view of the ocean

Hey Zack! Are you in Bend??
Rushed back to town only to miss IFHY by an hour!
Mega pissed.
Having to miss most of today too (work sucks!)
Hoping to see it Sunday @ 2 (Award winner); will definitely catch the 4PM screening.
Hope you add some more awards to your most impressive list !!!
