A little over 4 years ago, I decided to make the leap from struggling screenwriter to struggling filmmaker. With some friends we formed a group, Off Stage Films, and we filmed 13 shorts. It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been fun and luckily, DVXUser has been there every step of the way for help and guidance.
Our most recent film "Letters to Penthouse" began as an entry for LoveFest and was only recently completed.
We wanted to have a big premiere to celebrate this film as well as the previous dozen that came before it, so we are having a big show on:
Saturday, September 6
10:00 am to 12:00 noon
Morristown, NJ - Clearview Cinema
For details and directions go to: Off Stage Films
This is one of the largest digital projection theaters in the state (holding almost 450 people including a balcony). It would be awesome if any DVXUsers from the area could attend (you can even take the train from NYC).
Lastly, I can't begin to thank everyone here who has offered me help over the years. There are simply too many names. However, I would be remiss if I didn't thank Aram "Spike" Bauman who shot "Letters to Penthouse" and Jack Daniel Stanley who worked on the edit; I couldn't have done it without you both.
