Small world... I've worked with him before, too - on a short called Barrio Thief. He did some AMAZING work... and I just recruited him to work on my twilight fest entry..hehe... LOOK OUT!

Here is what I am looking at for shoot dates.

The weekend of September 27th and 28th.

Beyond those two days, the nature of the shoots will be sporadic and inconsistent and I'd really hate to have anyone commit to them otherwise. We will be doing a majority of the shooting on that weekend, and probably do a few pickups afterwards.

I also plan to do a little preliminary shooting with my actors on the previous weekend (the 20th and 21st) so we can get some footage to Nate to work with. Should prove to be interesting. :laugh:

Now off to find a classroom. I have a lead.

This is no lie Mark... my heart skipped a beat looking at those pics. I KNEW it was cool... because I was THERE... but wow... this thing's going to be incredible. Even though I've thanked you guys several times... let me say again... THANK YOU for having me out... you guys are amazing.
 
wow. this is what happens when you get a whole bunch of people that are really good at what they do and put them together. Looks like those came from a movie or something... whats this about Tim taking a break?? what a slacker :) kidding of course. Was really amazing to see so many people so good at what they do giving 110% like that. This is going to rock. Thanks for the grabs mark, keep us posted.

Thanks Matt! Yea it was funny, I was texting like a madman trying to get the last few 'cheap' messages out and the flight attendant kept trying to get me to turn off my phone. We were taxing down the runway when you called lol.
 
The grabs are nice, Mark. It was hard to tell sometimes looking at a 7" screen, especially on the wides. I see there is a grab from my favorite shot in there. The one with the mortar going off near the two soldiers, long lens, full body, smoke and fire in the shot... Matty snagged that one :)

What more can I say? Geoff and Matty are genius'. I've got to convince Geoff that he really wants to move up here to No. California!! :grin:
 
okay so i thought the bts stills were good but damn! Those shots are awesome! Eeek, I all tingly.... what great images.
