August Burns Red "Back Burner" Music Video

Here is a video we shot a few months back with 5 HVX cameras - all stock lens except we used a wide angle lens on one of them. We handled it a little bit different than the typical live video as we shot a good bit of footage (the CU shots) before the show even started and then got all our wide shots and b-roll throughout the show.

yea we're trying. doing a fun shoot this weekend - kind of a project music video we are taking under our wing. its going to be alot different than things we've done in the past so should be interesting

anything new with you? keeping busy?
 
I don't get it. THIS is music? Looked like some guy aimlessly screaming his lungs out.

Some people consider it music (like myself), I've been a fan of ABR for quite some time.

Most definitely keeping busy. Got a music video this weekend and another one the next weekend and then 2 weeks after that plus we have our first RED shoot in October for a rap artist out of St. Louis so I'm excited for that. Got a few big projects in the works as well so that's paying the bills at the moment heh.

Next time you guys do something around MD let me know.

This isn't directed at just you, I've heard this response several times.

I'm tired of this typical response to anything metal/hardcore/alternative where the music is stripped of its meaning and dedication and simplified down to some angry dude screaming for no reason. Believe it or not there is a HUGE market for this style of music and someday one of these bands might be a potential paying client.

There is no point in calling it stupid. People are still going to listen to it, people are still going to make movies for it. I don't go around bashing country music videos all day because I'm not fond of the style of music. Try to find something more in depth about the video to comment on, E.G. what did you think of the filming, angles, editing etc.
 
I've waited months for this you bastards!!!


But I'm not disappointed one bit, that song is usually what I start listening to when I turn that album on, so I'm psyched right now...excellent work guys.
