iMovie HD 6 and DVX100

I looked through iMovie 6HD , and all i could find info about as far as the timeline settings was DV, DV Widescreen, HDV 1080i, HDV 720p, MPEG-4 and iSight.

I couldnt find any info about framerates, ill check the internet for ya, maybe see something. Ive only got an HVX, never had a DVX but i can still use i to check. just give me a little time unless someone else knows.
 
it looks like you would have to using something besides imovie to caputre your footage to get it at 24p.

What is being recommended is getting quicktime Pro and capturing it with that. (with PRO you can capture more codecs and types than in iMovie). Then you have to have that footage in a 23.98 format before you bring it into iMovie. It appears that iMovie will have no problem with this footage, it just wont capture it in that format from your DV tapes, it will only capture NTSC 29.97 , even if the original DV footage is 24 or 23.98.

hope that info is all correct, it is to the best of my knowledge, anyone else?
