I've had problems keeping crew committed...BLAST summer! Who needs a vacation when there's a film that needs to be made?

It seems there aren't many DXVuser's in Upstate NY...if fact, I might be the ONLY one. Created a post looking for others, but not one response? Thank God I'm used to doing everything myself.

I saw that thread a few days ago and thought about responding. You mentioned a possible shoot in T.O. If you were going to come up I could give you my info and try to jump in. It's only a couple hrs drive from here.
I don't drive though so meeting up would have to be in the city, like at a bar or something. Even so, not even sure what I'd have to offer other than sluggin gear, booming the mike ect.

Maybe bro might have some spare time also, but he works crazy 12 hr rotating shifts so his schedule is nuts.
But if you decide to shoot in TO I'll pass it on to bro and see if he wants to participate or maybe offer a place to stay (quiet country side by a lake) or offer location suggestions? I don't know.
 
Thanks Raptor... but the location is locked and it's about 15 minutes from my house. I have a couple people coming in from Vermont to help. I think we can make it happen.

I am back in Ithaca in two weeks from yesterday. Working on Perchance all the way. Wish I could help.

Great you're a part of this.

I'm duly impressed by Joe's professionalism and organization skills - and a little envious. That coupled with professional actors and a great location, and this will be quite a wonderful short film.

Ah crap.

If it was a week earlier I would still be here near Utica which is an hour and a half trip. I am pretty sure I will in class right about then. Sorry man. Wish I could be there.
 
No worries... thanks anyways! Utica...the armpit of NY...yuck. I have some bad memories in that town.
